Moderator for outliers, obsolete items, and data exceptions across the app.
Only items ordered or received in the last N days can appear on Running Low (plus low velocity, not obsolete). Durable or abandoned items drop off after this window.
Drop date-stamped import batches here (e.g. item_20260811.json).
Production (item.json / order.json / vendor.json) is canonical
and is never replaced wholesale. Merge new only adds missing keys;
each merge gets a batchId timestamp. Upsert is optional and rare.
Unknown SKUs, ~5% numeric outliers, and obsolete items ordered again (shoppers are never blocked from ordering an obsolete item).
Candidates from low order count, long gap since last order, or already flagged. Obsolete only affects Running Low / suggestions — orders may still include the item.
